DESCRIPTION:\nPlease join us for our June Annual Dinner Meeting.\n \nDate: June 30, 2026\n \nTime:  5:00 pm – 8:30 pm\n \nLocation:  The Powelton Club, 29 Balmville Rd, Newburgh NY  12550\n \nPlease note that at this Annual Meeting we will be holding the election for the Officers and Board of Directors.  \n \nThe details of the Candidates for the Officers and Board of Directors will be provided in a separate email.  The voting will take place at 6:00 pm.\n \nPlease note that the cocktail reception will run from 5:00 pm – 5:45 pm with passed hors d’ oeuvres and a cash bar. \n \nThe meeting will begin at 6:00 pm.\n \n \n \nTopic Recognizing these issues and helping clients address them before they become sources of conflict or unintended consequences.\n \nSophisticated planning often focuses on taxes, structures, and asset protection. Join us as we explore the behavioral and interpersonal factors that frequently influence planning outcomes, including money beliefs, family communication, succession readiness, equal versus equitable treatment of heirs, and the risks created by assumptions that are never discussed. \n \nBio:\n \nJacques is a managing director and Certified Financial Planner™ who joined The Portfolio Strategy Group in 2014. Jacques leads PSG’s financial planning efforts and is also focused on client service and new business development. He is a member of PSG’s Investment Committee. \n \nJacques has more than 15 years of experience in the investment business, including serving as a financial advisor to high-net-worth clients at JP Morgan Private Bank and Bernstein Global Wealth Management. Jacques began working with private clients when he ran violinist Isaac Stern’s family office. He also served as production manager for Lincoln Center. He earned his bachelor’s degree in industrial and labor relations from Cornell University and an MBA from the Stern School of Business at NYU.\n \nJacques and his wife live in Northern Westchester and have two children. He volunteers his time as president of the Merestead Conservancy, treasurer of the Linda and Isaac Stern Charitable Foundation, and is an active member of the Professional Advisory Council for Weill Cornell Medicine.
