The Board of the Hudson Valley Estate Planning Council is excited to announce that registration is now open for the January 6, 2026 Dinner Meeting at the Powelton Club.

Please note that the cocktail reception will run from 5:00 pm – 5:45 pm with passed hors d’ oeuvres and a cash bar.  The meeting will begin at 6:00 pm.

This event will feature a panel discussion on 2026 Legal and Tax Updates featuring Richard Shapiro, Estate Attorney, Bonnie Orr, CPA & Estate Specialist and Jason Siruchek, Medicare Specialist. Moderated by Heather Oboda, CPA.

Passed Hors d’ Oeuvres

• Endive with Roasted Beet, Walnit and Goat Cheese Mousse
• Baby Lamb Chops, Pistachio Romesco Sauce
• Mediterranean Ahi Tuna with Olive Tapanade, Preserved Lemon and Endive
• Ricotta and Pecan Crostini, Honey Whipped Ricotta Cheese with Spiced Pecans

First Course:  Pre-Set Salads

• Mesclun Greens, Dried Cranberries, Candied Walnuts, Gorgonzola Cheese, Barlett Pears, Sherry Vinaigrette and Sweep Potato Crisps
• Warm Artisan Rolls and Whipped Butter

Dinner options include:

• Eight Ounce Filet Mignon with wild Mushroom Ragout, Cabernet Demi-Glace (No Rosemary)

• Roasted Frenched Chicken Breast, Long Stem Artichokes, Tomato and Olives

• Pan Seared Salmon Fillet, Lemon and Chervil Beurre Blanc
• Vegetarian Entrée – Available Upon Request

Includes One Beer or Glass of wine Served with Dinner.
